Scripture
Psalm 16:11 — “You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
Psalm 105:4 — “Seek the LORD and his strength; seek his presence continually!”
John 14:6 — Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
How Do We Seek Him?
Word + Prayer
Think of it as an ongoing conversation: God speaks through His Word; we speak back in prayer.
- Add five minutes to whatever you do now.
- Read or listen—use an audio Bible on your commute or walk.
- Two postures: sometimes study like a textbook; sometimes just enjoy it like the best story you know.
Simple Prayer Frameworks
- A.C.T.S. — Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, Supplication.
- Reflect → Respond → Request — Reflect on who God is, respond in worship/repentance/thanks, then ask.
Why Seek Him?
- He commands it (Psalm 105:4).
- We love Him (Psalm 116:1–2).
- He’s worthy—gracious, near, and good (Psalm 116; 145).
What Happens When We Do?
- Eternal: He shows us the path of life; in His presence is fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11).
- Daily: He gives guidance and real, growing joy as we walk with Him (Psalm 145:18).
