What’s happening?
God has called Bryan and Deana Wolf to plant a new church in Bellville! A church in our network of churches had dwindled to a few members and took the bold step of voting to merge with our church, thus becoming Lifepoint Bellville.
As Bryan and Deana prayed, they sensed that God was calling them to lead this new church plant in Bellville. We are so excited for Bryan and Deana and are eager to send them well.
Why is this happening?
Because we do whatever it takes to reach the one!
Bryan and Deana have extensive experience in church planting and are excited to share the Gospel and make disciples in Bellville. We are so excited about Bryan and Deana taking this step so that more people in Bellville can hear and respond to the Gospel!
What is Lifepoint Church’s plan?
Over the next several months, Bryan will increasingly turn his attention toward this new church in Bellville.
We anticipate that Lifepoint Bellville will begin having preview services in early September and a grand opening on November 1st.
While Bryan gives full-time attention to Lifepoint Bellville, we have decided that he has the bandwidth to continue serving LP Mount Vernon as our Executive Pastor while planting LP Bellville.
Our hope is that in approximately 24 months, LP Bellville will grow to the point that we can hire a full-time Lead Pastor for Bellville. At that point, Bryan and Deana would return their full attention to serving LP Mount Vernon.
We have already begun recruiting internally for someone to come onto our staff team as a part-time Operations Director to help fill the gap created by this church planting opportunity.
How can I help?
The most important thing you can do is pray!
Please pray for Bryan and Deana. Church planting is incredibly difficult work. Pray for their new church, that God would use it to draw people to Himself.
Please also pray for Lifepoint. Bryan and Deana have had a huge impact on so many people, and their presence on Sundays will be missed! Pray for our staff team and our Lifeteams as well — this transition is going to create extra work for all of us!
Finally, we want you to pray about how God might want you to be a part of this new church in Bellville.
Pray about moving to be a part of this new church. Pray about committing to give 3–6 months of your attendance as they try to get off the ground and reach people there. Or simply pray!
